Several majestic Himalayan peaks — including Everest (8,850 m), Lhotse (8,516 m), Shartse I (7,591 m), and Thamserku (6,623 m) — were recently visible from the Indian town of Jainagar, about 150 km away.
Clear skies and low pollution after heavy rains allowed this breathtaking sight, showing the snow-covered giants rising far beyond the plains.
Such visibility is extremely rare, as these peaks usually remain hidden behind haze and distance. A true reminder of nature’s grandeur!
